Tool & Die Heat Treating

The heat-treating of tools and dies requires careful thermal processing to achieve the requisite part mechanical properties (hardness, toughness, and compressive strength) coupled with dimensional stability. A scale free finish, important for components which do not require further machining, is provided. Exacting care for the processing of all tool and die steels is emphasized with the ability to delivery heat-treated product within one or two days after receipt of parts.
